Thanks. I seem to be making every project a big one now. Time to start the next one...

Now that I'm finally on my computer to see this... he's really cool! Really well sculpted and painted. I think he could have been even better with lengthened legs, shorter boots, and even wider pants, but the lengthening would have been a major ordeal at the point I noticed and mentioned it. I want to see him next to just 15, 14, and regular 13 now!

I can only slightly agree about the legs because any taller and I think he'd be out of scale, plus his chest is the perfect proportion for where his pants come up to. Wonderman's boots are real thick, so shortening them would take that 'boot effect' away and it would look more like ankle boots. I'll take a pic with those guys later.

I love this custom Adam I think u did so amazing work on the head it's hard to believe u sculpted the face from scratch. I think that if the boots would have been unbuckled or flared open that the issue bran is having with the pants wouldn't be as noticeable, as it would have broken up the way Ur eye moves down the figure.

King Yemma
Date: May 2014 Creation Time: 75 Hours Difficulty: 13/10 Head: DWC Ox King Body: Marvel Gray Hulk Modifications: I rated him a 13/10 because any number over 10 means a new level of effort and deciation put into such works. I rated Wheelo a 20 for example, but this guy was also a beast and I love how he turned out. Still maintains seven points of articulation and he carries the most apoxie of any of my customs. Even more than Wheelo. What made his sculpt particularly difficult was the fact he is dressed in a smooth suit and I had to sculpt it from scratch onto another body. Was he harder to make than Wheelo? No. Plain and simple. But with every custom now, I find myself perfecting too much and spending more time than I thought I would on them. It helps my performance, but when you want to make 568 other customs, it doesn't help haha. For the process on Yemma, first, I made him an inch taller in the mid-section using cork I got from Branjita as filler (he stands at about 9 inches, Wheelo is 10). If he was real scale, I'd have to make him like 3-4 feet tall and obviously wouldn't....so anything over 8 inches was my goal and I'm fine with it. Most of my 'big' characters range from 8-13 inches. This way, they still look big and nice, even next to my one scaled collection, and fit on my shelf. Continuing on the work...I wrapped the heck out of him in damp paper towels and taped him up to round him out. But it still wasn't enough. In order to not waste more paper towels and good money, I decided to wrap him in newspaper and then tape that sealed. Finally, he was thick enough to need one layer of apoxie (about a cm to half cm thick). I also had to add filler of paper towels over his original legs. When I did, I glued the original legs straight, but one was made bent, even when straightened, and I didn't realize this until the apoxie I had put on after, had dried. So, from the side, he appears to be walking I tell ya, the pants were tough to sculpt apoxie onto because when I pushed it on and tried smoothening it, it would sink in a little from the soft paper towel filler I used. I did my best and when it dried, they had quite a few dents in them, so I had to make small pieces of apoxie to fill them in and even out with the rest of his legs. Tedious! That didn't include the addition of having to make the pants baggier and pointed in the front like slacks are. I sculpted everything on him from scratch. The tie, the jacket, the sleeves, the pants, the buttons, the shoes, and of course, the beard, the hair, and the face! For the sleeves, the Hulk figure I used had enormous biceps that were freakishly thick, so I had to carve them down a lot with my dremel, which I also used on the rest of his body to sand him along with sand paper (but only sand paper on his face). Then for the head, well, what can I say? I did want the DWC Yemma, but things work themselves out for a reason. I like the one I made better . It took another 8-10 hours of sculpting, sanding, painting, and clearing, but it was worth it. I think it looks like him a lot, don't you? Sculpting was the hardest part. Sanding was fun because it put him all together. I sanded him down so much too, but he needed it due to the splotches of apoxie I had to add afterwards in many places. The white apoxie worked out, but not without struggle. Painting Yemma wasn't too bad either. I made sure my edges were smooth and straight, and that the colors were vibrant and accurate. I shaded his suit with purple over dark lavender and his skin with red over very dark pink. Lastly, the helmet needed new horns and the base of the old ones straightened by cutting. For the symbol, I printed it out from a screenshot. Overall, King Yemma was a lot of work. He is officially the 2nd toughest, longest, and tallest custom I've made to date. May be the heaviest though lol Funny, I remember in 2012, I made a poll asking what major custom to make next. The poll had Dr.Wheelo, Daikaioh, Baba, Mercenary Tao, and King Yemma in it. Two years later, they're all made and on display. Proud of myself, but I think it's time to restructure my collection, clean it up, and take new pics. Then I can make some smaller, quicker customs before tackling another major project. Enjoy!

Man he's a beast adam I'll bet hes really heavy I can only imagin how much heavier he would have been if he was all apoxie like 6-7 lb's maybe lol. All in all he's really nice u did a great job on the head and I really like the paint job it really makes him pop.
