Gohan praying for your mom. I know what you are going through ad I hope her recovery is going better than my father's. Stage 4 cancer is no joke...lung cancer too...never smoked a day in his life. |

Yea i believe she's stage 4 as well, although hers is colon. I'm just scared what would happen after if something bad happens. For example you're settled down and stuff but im studying, then there's my lil bro and sis. Hope they both have a speedy recovery.

^My dad never survived cancer. He passed a week after my last post in this thread. Let's get back into it, even if I do it slowly. Super Saiyan Royal Blue Vegeta??? (Tournament of Power Saga) -no official name yet, but I like "Royal" for Vegeta-Date: Jan 2018 Time: 1.5 hours each Difficulty: 2/10 I got these Vegetas in a lot to resell, and I have already tripled my money by just painting and selling these two. I gave them a 2/10 difficulty instead of a 1/10 because painting hair lines and eyes, especially eyes with pupils, can be very tedious. Still a great way to test my painting skills after 2.5 years of little activity. Nonetheless, I had this badass metallic blue paint from when I painted Wheelo, so it was a convenient task. The tall Vegeta was sold on ebay to a likely Figuarts collector, and the smaller Irwin-scaled Vegeta is being sold to @doomprevails. Enjoy.   |

As some of you may know, I have replaced custom time over the past 3 years with writing and self-publishing my own book series. I am writing volume 5 this year and plan on taking a break from it once it is released in Jan 2019.
At that point, I will know if my career is in a place where I can settle my home in to build my collection shelves again. From there, I'll set up the display and take new pics and continue the customizing if everything falls into place career-wise.

Love the Vegetas Adam(I honestly don't remember your name BTW but it sounds perfect in my head, sorry if I'm wrong). Hopefully you can someday get back to working on customs and chip away at the 499 that are left. Has the number been updated in any way with the movies/super?
Btw, where would I go to buy your book for future reference? Money is tight right now for me, but whenever things are better I'd like to buy it for my sister. If I remember correctly, you said it was kinda like dragonball and she loves to read. I feel like it would be the perfect combo.
Also sorry apperantly I didn't notice the response last time I was here. Sorry to hear about your father, my condolences. My mother passed away as well, based on the post a year later I think, been a blur since. Im still lost honestly, hope you're in a better position than me.

It's been a while, Gohan. Glad to see you back. Adam, it is. For the collection list, believe it or not, I sold close to 100 figures (non-customs) for a down-payment on a house, but I plan to buy them back. Once I do, I'll be back at the 501/499 mark. 502 once I purchase that new Metal Cooler. Then the customs will return, eventually. Super will end up changing the list a lot. Depending on how many new characters I need to make from Super, I will have to remove that amount from the current list to keep my goal of 1000 total. Luckily, I have the luxury of removing doubles like a Saiyan and Namek Saga Krillin (whom look the same and wear the same thing, keep 1), but I'll still have to cut out some current listed characters (obviously ones that are most minor) like Moah and Krang from DBZ Movie 8....yeah, who? They made it one scene each. Moah was killed and Krang created the device that stabilized Broly's rage. Pretty unimportant considering their 5 seconds of screen time.
