That's sweet about Taiken. I didn't realize it was his birthday! It's hard for me to overlook how big the head is, but it's really cool what you did with these parts. There's some weirdness to his proportions, particularly from the side and 3/4 view, but he looks really good from the front, which is most important. Lol I could have told you she'd say no to Pigero as a name... sheesh. LOL. My gosh would he be teased by other kids (and Uncle Bran ) Zeshin? That's pretty weird. Name him Shoken after Chin Taiken's son. Or how about Oggers? That would be hilarious with your last name (or any last name)

I didn't even consider his head being too big except in the WIP pic.....that's why I cut a lot of the hair off on the sides and broadened his shoulders. I think his head looks just fine considering how perfect the base was and how shrinking a head completely is basically a pointless waste of time unless you just use another head. And I don't see how his proportions are off haha. Well, except his massive arms? But Chin Taiken had arms like an ox. Everything just looks so perfect about this custom IMO and not because I made it. I have become really picky about my customizing process lately, that I look back on some of my customs I thought were great; like Saiyan Saga Yamcha, Beerus, Turles, and few more and they don't look very good to me like they used to. But this is in my top 10 now....maybe it's a sentimental thing. Oggers? HA! I tried Shoken, but she said it sounds like "Choking" and then I suggested Sky, like Taiken's rival, Sky Dragon, and she likes it. Right now, we're looking at Zeshin, Leon, Tora, or Sky. I am very thankful she's open to this lol

Mr. Satan would've been a good choice.
If youse guys have a girl down the road, will it be a DB name, or does the wifey pick that one?

If we ever have a girl (which we may only have one more in the future) the name will be Adalyn. It's a fusion (go figure) of our names. So not a character, but a DBZ theme.

Definitely naming my future son DAIMAO
HE WILL CRUSH HIS ENEMIES
I can see that a lot of dedication went into that custom, amazing work.

You know I just recently started doing dbz customs. I really like the Beerus you did. I think you were the first person to try him. It's still is one of the best I have seen.

Thanks. I was the first to try, 2nd to complete one. Someone made a really dark purple one that looked like a dog, and finished a few weeks before me back in March of last year.

Yardrat Goku (Trunks Saga)
Date: September 2014 Creation Time: 22 Hours Difficulty: 6/10
Head: DWC Angle Goku Torso/Armor Flap: Bandai Real Works Yardrat SSGoku Arms: Irwin Series 10 Yamcha Legs: HSCF Bootleg Goku Fists: Bandai Real Works SSGoku in Armor Sunglasses: DWC Yardrat Goku Modifications: I never want to paint a Yardrat Goku again. I think I spent 10+ hours painting him. Layer upon layer upon layer, redoing the yellow lines over and over until they were straight and perfect. It was a 100% new paintjob. Not a space on him got no paint. Before that, I was originally planning to use the torso for a Yardratan Warrior, but I thought, if I have to make Yardrat Gokus (one normal and one SS), then why not try to convert this torso to one instead? Plus missing Goku in his Yardrat attire was a hole that had to be filled lol Surprisingly, the torso was pretty much to scale. All I had to do to it was lengthen it 1/4 of a cm in the white waistband area and add some filler on the shirt beside his right arm. I used an Irwin Yamcha for the arms, but had to add some shoulder/bicep width to offset the slightly smaller torso and fill Goku's proportions. I shortened Yamcha's arms a little and sculpted Goku's wrist bands/shirt bands. I simply cut and applied the Real Works Armored SSGoku's fists. Might be a tiny bit small, but I had no other fists and didn't want to give him open hands. In some pics, the right arm looks longer than the left. Not sure why. They're pretty much the same. Anyways, that right arm was a pain. Either the Irwin Yamcha's elbow is bent incorrectly, or I had a bad one. The arm was slightly angled outward from the elbow instead of inward toward the body, so I had cut part of the elbow sleeve and insert a thin plastic piece to keep it bent. I could have boiled and shaped it, but the arm already had 2-3 layers of paint when I noticed. The torso was a life-saver. Not that I couldn't have sculpted the armor, but it saved another 7-10 hours. His neck wrap is the original too. The shoulder/armor flap is from the Real Works Yardrat SSGoku as well and glued to the shoulder, so he can rotate his arm. I had to sculpt his underwaist armor, and that was pretty tough getting those curved lines all straight and even. His legs and boots just got new paint and were the quickest of the tasks on him, but is also where my one flaw comes from. He stands just fine, but he leans forward a little. I boiled and froze the feet to be in better position. The next day, I painted them and noticed they had gone back to their original shape. Ugh it's not a big deal, but he leans just a tiny bit more forward than my other figures. Lastly, for the head, I had to sculpt a neck, which took some time, because it was tough to fit evenly. I drilled a screw into the bottom of his neck and put apoxie around it to create a long peg that slides in firmly . The head also got a complete new repaint and apoxie to fill another hole where the DWC Angle Goku's halo used to be. I was thinking about using the Irwin Series 4 Goku head, but it's too serious looking for this Goku. I had the sunglasses all planned and they wouldn't have looked right on a serious face. Goku was mainly a happy camper in the Trunks Saga because he didn't have to deal with Frieza and was finally home again. Overall, I like my results a lot and give myself a 9.5/10. Enjoy.

Thanks, I had the sunglasses on straight, but they must have shifted right before I took the pic.

He's really well done Adam the only complaint I have is that the head looks a little big to me idk if it's just because of the body looking a little to thin or just the head looking to fat but either way it's hardly noticeable great job either way and a really nice use of parts. If I had to grade him I'd give him the same score u did a 9.5. -.5 because of the head issue.
