Good advice. I may also look into the Scultures Launch on the bike. It's tough to decipher her height, but I think it might be close enough to fit in scale. Perhaps I'm wrong?
Appreciate the compliments, dakota!

As usual, I made a miscount. This isn't my 500th figure, but instead, 499. Not to worry though, 500 will be done this weekend For now, enjoy another one of my created "doctors." May be not as good as Dr.Wheelo, but still! #499: Dr.Briefs (Frieza Saga)Date: March 2015 Creation Time: 20 Hours Difficulty: 7/10 Head: Deagostini Krillin Torso: Jakks Series 14 Vegeta Arms: Bandai SBC Future Trunks Legs: Irwin Series 1 Master Roshi Jacket: Dr.Who Figure Modifications: This was my toughest project I've made in months, probably since Saiyan Saga Yamcha, although Launch was no walk in the park either. Starting at the head, it's funny that Krillin is or was under there. Only his ears and eyebrows were salvaged. Using his head was helpful in placing all the facial features together. Technically, Briefs' eyes are Krillin's, but smaller. From there, I could place the glasses around (which I made out of apoxie, not an easy task) and then sculpted the mustache right over Krillin's. The nose was simple as it took the place of Krillin's non-nose. I had to cut the cheeks down a LOT to give Briefs more of a V shaped head and jawline. Cutting that rubbery plastic meant I had to cut deeper because you can't sand it smooth, so I had to add apoxie over it so it would be smooth. The face was easily 60-70% of the work and very tedious. No jokes here. There aren't too many customs of mine where I had to sculpt the entire face from scratch (no pun intended) but this was one. Let's see, Wheelo, Fasha, North Supreme Kai, Tora, Shugesh, Chin Taiken, Beerus, Super Android 13, and I'm sure at least a half dozen more. As a finishing touch to the face, I gave him his cigarette. I don't condone smoking, but I can't deny that Briefs always had one going, so I didn't mind creating it. Moving on, the jacket had to be trimmed to fit his shoulder area. Luckily, it slipped right on the Vegeta torso after I sliced off Vegeta's big collar. That was a nice, convenient, surprise. His under shirt had to be raised, so I sculpted that and painted Briefs' little collar on there. The jacket also got some collar refining, pocket linings, buttons, and a strap sculpted on the back before being painted. Future Trunks sleeves were perfect. I didn't do anything to them and didn't need to. How cool. His small wrist straps even match his grandfather's. For the legs, I used Roshi's and they slipped into the Vegeta torso fine. I did have to do some retooling because Vegeta's groin piece snapped, but it works. Moving down, the pants remained, just with a repaint and then I sculpted sandals on by creating the overlapping foot strap and bottom. Painting that wasn't easy either. Overall, I had no doubts the body would work once I put the pieces together, but the face took some convincing. Once again, I think I surprised myself. It looks like him and that makes me more glad than anything. Tough custom, but worth the trouble and worth the result. Finally, last but not least, I could give Scratch the cat, a home; right upon Dr.Brief's shoulder. Meow!

#500: Elder Moori (Namek Saga)
Date: April 2015 Creation Time: 25 Hours Difficulty: 6/10 Head: DWC Guru (It's under there somewhere lol) Body: Atlas Editions GT Giant Arms: AB Piccolo Shoes: Bandai SBC Piccolo Modifications: My collection is half complete...after 15 years of collecting and customizing. Crazy. Elder Moori will be the last custom I make for a few weeks probably as I need to spend countless hours dusting and reorganizing my collection shelves, so I can finally take collection pics. It'll be at 50% of its potential For this custom, the GT Giant was just a perfect base. Size-wise, didn't have to add width or height anywhere. His pants were identical to Moori's. I easily snapped his boots off and glued Piccolo's in place like they were meant for the legs lol Even though I managed to maintain his pecs too, I had to sculpt his abdomen and vest from scratch. They turned out well! Just tedious work.....though nothing compared to his head. That was the bulk of the work. First, I carved down Guru's cheeks as they were too puffy. Moori's head is in fact, quite the opposite shape of Guru. He has a larger forehead than cheek and lower face while most of Guru's head is below his eyes. So that meant that second, I had to cut some length off as well below the chin, carve out a mouth closer to his nose, resculpt the eyes completely 100% (because Guru has droopy eyes and Moori's brows are more V shaped), then add a chunk of apoxie to the forehead, before blending and sanding in wrinkles allover. In fact, believe it or not, but that DWC Guru head is not a great base for Moori LOL It's a little big and the only thing I kept and maintained from it were the antennae, nose, and ears. Elder Moori has one of those heads that you just have to build from scratch and that's essentially what I did. A lot of work, but I am glad the body was so easy to put together. Lastly, the arms were just repainted from an AB Piccolo and the neck wrap sculpted from scratch once the head was in place. It'll do! And I like it. 500. Finally. My project is half way there....
