I haven't finished either! I just realized I have an appointment to get my taxes done on Sunday... I think at 1 pm, so everybody may have a little more time if they need an hour or two Sunday morning.  This could be helpful if you are trying to take advantage of natural light. I wish that benefited me, but now I have to finish my entries AND organize my tax stuff! |

I agree! You should have just donated a prize and entered them! The way the prize structure works, almost everybody who enters could win at least something!

You're still in time.  Technically, anybody who wants to submit a scene still has until approximately 10 a.m. Central Standard Time (Texas time zone). That's what time I will probably get on the computer tomorrow and start setting up everything. |

Okay everybody, we have some freaking amazing scenes submitted so far!! You have about 12 hours left to submit scenes and post a picture and description of what prize you're offering.
If anybody who isn't participating wants to offer a prize, please do so in the next 12 hours as well, or I will not have it included in the calculations for prizes.
Some $5 donations as prizes would be great to have from people not participating if we can get several.

Ok, I'm finally at the computer and ready to get started. I've been contacted by one member who is trying to send me his pics, so I'm waiting on him. So in about 30 minutes submissions for both prize donations and entries are closed!
I have to review how the heck I did the prizes in 2008 as it worked awesome...
Also, I plan on doing very minor corrections in Photoshop to every scene because all would benefit... Slight color correction (auto contrast/auto levels), denoising (remove grain/speckles), and sharpening (to fix the slight blur denoising causes). I won't be removing flaws or anything like that, these are just changes to the images as a whole. I could skip these, but I think everybody will be happier if I do this, as it levels the playing field for those who don't have as good of cameras as others.
I still need a replacement pic from one member. I already emailed him yesterday but haven't heard back yet. His pic is too small, so check your email and see if I emailed you.
