Hey I just wanted to introduce myself. I am HG, right now my main thing is collecting the Bandai HG gashapons.
I first came across the community when I found the checklist on the proboards site. I always meant to join, but by the time i was ready it was a ghost town, so I followed the wave here!
I have been a fan of Dragonball since I first saw it one Sunday morning when I was like in the 3rd grade. My mind was blown when I found out a little later that Dragonball was just the tip of the iceberg. I almost fainted when I saw the DBZ intro (Rock the Dragon). I was also a big fan of Voltron and Speed Racer, when I found out that all of the series were from Japan I became hooked with anime. I said all that to say that I am a big anime fan and Dragonball is one of my first loves.
Many years and many animes later, I found myself bored on ebay. I was looking at oldschool high articulation 6 inch Spider-Man figures. This lead me to the Revoltech line, which lead me to the S.H. Figuarts line. When I saw the S.H. Figuarts figures it rekindled my fascination. I started collecting gashapon because of there quality, size and affordability.
I am here to learn more about Dragonball/DBZ collectibles (release history, future releases, rarity, etc.) I am mainly focused on gashapon right now, centered around the Bandai HG figures but I have some other dbz gashapon as well. I also have a few other DBZ toys (figures, scouters, etc)
I am also thinking about getting into die cast toys. The diecast 20th Anniversary MMPR collectibles are really calling me. I also saw some diecast Speed Racer vehicles that caught my eye. One of my latest purchases was a pair of chogokin (diecast metal and plastic) gundam figures, RX-78-2 and Char's Zaku.
I look forward to hopefully contributing to the forum.
