Just thought I'd share this entertaining (okay, annoying) fail by the US Post Office. Assuming my package arrives today, my priority mail package will have taken 7 days to get to me instead of the 2 to 3 days it is supposed to take. tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction!input.action?tRef=qt&tLc=0&tLabels=9114901159815819587235 As you can see, the package arrived on Sunday in Dallas (where I live) and it's currently Thursday. Picture me anxiously waiting for the mail man to bring me my large delivery Monday... Tuesday... Wednesday... and now Thursday. And I don't have a clue why it went to a military post office. I've never, ever seen that on my tracking before. I hope the package isn't beat to hell because it has a full set of DBZ DVD orange bricks in it that are supposed to be practically mint.

Blue bricks are the original Dragon Ball series and orange bricks is DBZ.

I swear... I am sick and tired of having bad luck with orange bricks! 1st set I buy... guy didn't describe them well. He said they were adult owned and in "Very Good" condition in ebay's form. And in case you don't know, Ebay's standards for "Very Good" are specific and basically mean that there's no damage. Well, the discs and cases were crap. I returned them and am waiting for my refund. This set was in really good condition. Until the idiot seller put all 9 sets into a box that would only hold 6 sets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The box bust open in transit, the postal service's note is a generic response but apparently they fell out, got crushed, and got stuck in a machine, and 3 of the cases have cracks and chunks of plastic broken. One of the 3 sets has those issues plus pretty bad cardboard damage. The discs are all good, but sheesh. DBZ DVD sellers are freaking idiots.

The seller is refunding me $20 like I requested so I can replace one of the sets. Overall, not too angry now. Stupid of the seller to use too small of a box though. Seriously. These were 9 MINT dvd sets.

I don't even blame the post office. I do, however, blame the person working at the post office who ALLOWED the seller to send them in too small of a box. The box was shipped from the post office, it wasn't paid for online. Some dumb ass allowed this to happen.

She should have slapped him and told him off when he walked up to the counter with the box looking all pregnant and stuff. The women at my post office have no shortness of rude things to say to people, so I don't know why his would be different. It's like... Darwin Award worthy...

Bran you would hate eBay's Global Shipping Program. They open every parcel to do the customs paperwork and reseal so no matter how well the sender has packed the items they are repacked all willy nilly And you know it has been repacked by the cute eBay tape they use.

I've shipped a couple of things through that program actually, lol. It's easy for the seller, but the buyer gets screwed big time. Hopefully it will improve over time.
