It's not Oolong! I ran out of Apoxie so I'll post what I was able to finish on him, before having to order some more and wait for it to ship...   It's Magetta from DBS! I can almost guarantee we'll never see a 5-inch scale figure of him so I figured I'd him a shot! I'm in love with it so far, but he's gonna be so heavy when its all done lol. He's actually made 100% from scratch! There are no other figure parts in him. I carved the pieces from foam, used ping pong and plastic baseballs for all the round joints, and connected things together with dowel rods. Then I covered the foam with a water based putty, which I learned from one of classes at college. He's pretty sturdy! But definitely going to require a looooooottt more clay and sanding. |

HOLY CRAP DAKOTA! That's amazing!!!! Let me add to that  Kinda speechless and jealous lol. The head sculpt looks flawless....and he's HUGE. 12 inches. (Idc if she said it) Easily going to be your best custom. Just awesome, but man, get ready to sand like crazy. That's what makes robots so difficult to customize, because they're sleek, smooth, and complex. |

gp mogen Branjita Adrenaline Thanks you guys so much ! I'm very very excited for him to be done. I'm not looking forward to how much sanding he'll take (I'm actually dreading it lol), but I'll make it. I struggled with those head proportions a lot. I also decided to make his fingers on one hand and have the other one with the fingers closed like in his official artwork, just to make the pose a little more interesting. Thankfully I learned about the foam project possibilities from some of my sculpture courses, or there would've been no way I ever would've tried to make him haha. Hopefully I can post a big update within the next day or so, because I've mostly covered him with sculpt! doomprevails88 One day I'll figure Botamo out! Hopefully... Lol, but I wish I could figure out some way to be able to pose him like that. The Bota Magetta scene cracked me up!
