Hey guys, I really want to get Ver.1 of the Goku Medicos figure, but not sure how to spot if it is an "original" or "bootleg." So based on the website (the link I posted below), it seems that the box of the "original version" has a white background color (within the box), while the "bootleg" version has a blue background (within the box). Do you think this is a good way to gauge if it is original or bootleg? Or is the only safe bet the sticker? Seems like a lot of sellers really don't show the sticker so I'm in a bit of a problem...

If you don't want to risk buying a bootleg, why not just preorder now from amiami or biginjap?

He wants the 1st version, not the 2nd version, and I think Big in Japan only had the 2nd one if I remember right.
Still, based on the price of the 1st one and risk of getting a bootleg, I'd just get the 2nd one from biginjap.com personally

"Hello, This is the reissue of the first version (solid hair color). Sincerely, Big in Japan" |

I've got an authentic version 2 I'd sell for close to retail. It's really weird how they're handling the re-issues for this figure. The clear haired version already got a re-release... But it came out after the normal version. Just don't get why they went v1-v2-v2 re-issue , v1 re-issue.

Thanks for everyone's reply! Just wondering though, is BIJ a pretty reliable place to buy figures? And is the re-issue pretty much going to be the exact same thing as the original version 1?
