so i have been looking up a bunch of my rare games to sell trying to get some money together (because i spent WAY to much and am now piss broke) and i noticed that alot of rare games are worth jack sh!t!
whats the deal? i searched up on ebay 15 different RPG games for PS2/WII/DS and Gamecube and they all had under 30 listings available yet non of them breached the $25 mark
have any of you noticed this with games or figures eve?

I've noticed that with gameboy color. The console is cheap as well as the games. I thought it would cost much more.

thats not rare at all though, the GBC is junk because all its games work on the GBA as well as they sold millions of the thing in different colors. only the special ones like the astro boy and pokemon ones have value

There's the problem. Those systems aren't that old for any of their games to be worth very much(with a few exceptions I'm sure). What games were they? |

What games were they? there are quite a few games for those systems that are of high value, i'm talking games that are rare yet worth low amounts ps2 ex Shining force neo Malice Soul Nomad La Pucelle Metal saga Dual Hearts |

You also have to consider that the games may be very high production. Look up the movie Transformers, and you'll see that it sells for like $3 and free shipping (a total loss for the seller after fees). And it's simply because they made so damn many of them that they are now worthless.
Another reason could be because the old game looks like crap on an hd tv. Some games look just fine, but others it's like... "wtf is this garbage I'm looking at?! I used to really like this game!"
I played final fantasy 8 (ps1 game) a little bit a couple of years ago when I was moving and had already shut my cable tv off and it didn't look horrible, but it didn't look great either.

well having to many printed would mean the game isnt rare lol, the crap reason seems good though
