ok, so i have this valuable trading card worth around $400-500 because there are only about 200 of it ever made and the game is discontinued. I decided to sell it on Kijiji and within a few hours i get a guy barter me down to $400, I say yes and by the next day hes like " I dunno, $400 is alot for a card If you take $300 i'll accept" so i pretty much say "no price is firm" and he says "Oh, i have a friend who might be interested" said friend offers me $100 and says his buddy is "crazy for offering me more than $200 for cardboard"
at this point i figure out he used his friend to attempt to show me the card had a low value, i point this out and he pretty much snaps calling me names and being a general dick. I pretty much tell him to f off and I'd rather light the card on fire than sell it for less than what it's worth
he is still bitching, If i could post the entire conversation somehow without retyping it i would.
have any of you had a similar experience?

Dude we face things like that everyday not only with collectibles. These idiots provide such hilarious conversations. I wish you could actually post it here. Don't get angry man. Just have some fun giving them what they're worth.

Didn't we have someone from the board who was low balling our ol caps? Happens to me on a damn near daily basis. I just have a bit of fun with them and if they don't see the reasoning behind my price I tell them to beat it. Time is money and I don't have loose change for morons. |

yeah, well his lowballing turned into him being a HUGE dick and him harassing me. Really got me riled up, so i started to ignore him. I also have an older phone so i cant block him

With the stuff you're selling I can assume you do, but for some reason I remember a guy from here lowballing ya for like a buck. Either way I can understand someone low balling to get the price lowered a bit, but when they keep persisting, even when they know you know the actual going price, is just annoying.
