Didn't we have someone from the board who was low balling our ol caps? Happens to me on a damn near daily basis. I just have a bit of fun with them and if they don't see the reasoning behind my price I tell them to beat it. Time is money and I don't have loose change for morons. Idk why but I always throw low balls at cap! Hahaha omega shenron best offer $5 lmao

don't get me started lol. Before I moved to texas I use to live in dutch country in a place called Holland Michigan....and if you are familiar with the dutch you would know what I mean lol. I have nothing agenized them I had a lot of dutch friends and even they would admit to being cheap and thrifty lol. Here is what I mean
We had a moving/garage sale the prices we had were already super low! we had these mini flashlights for 75 cents, they were brand new! perfect working condition probably worth about 3-5 bucks each and we had them at 75 cents! this guy came and grabed a bunch of them from the bucket and said " ill buy all these if you can work down to 10 cents a pice" I glared at him and said "these are worth about 5 bucks each and they are brand new, we are selling them at 75 cents, its cheap enough!" the guy gets mad and gets one and gives me 50 cents and walks off. My dad is trying to sell this chain saws for 200 bucks. it was two chain saws included each were fairly new, very well taken care of. the large one itself was worth about 400 bucks and the small one was worth about 200. the only reason my dad was selling them was because we couldn't take them with us to the move. so this guy shows up and asks me how much for the chain saws? I told him $200 bucks. he then says "what? 200?!" I then tell him it includes both. he then tells me "i'll give you 30 bucks" I then call my dad on the phone an ask him just for the hell of it to see what he thinks. my dad says "hell No!!! is this guy some kind of idiot?" I then tell the guy I cant go that low. the guy then gets mad and throws a tantrum and says "what a rip off I can get that at Low's for 20 bucks you will never sell those!". then suddenly my brother's bus driver shows up and over heard and said" Ill take those for 200!" then man that low balled me turned around and looked very pissed at the bus driver who bough them lol. they lowballed for my dad's tourus lawn mower and john deer tractor as well. some guy offered 14 bucks for the 600 dollar lawn mower wich my dad was selling for 250. and someone offered me 100 for the tractor which my dad was selling for 300 wich came with a hitch, small trailer and a roller. the prices were already reasonable and yet the people keeped lowballing even for stupid stuff that was already dirt cheap such as the flashlights, tape measures, tools
also we had garden hoses for a buck and the people were saying "ill give you a quarter for them?" it was ridiculous! they low balled everything and wanted everything practically given away! we had these Christmas ordinates brand new in box for 1 dollar and people were asking me to lower it to 25 or 50 cents as well. my dutch friend came and told me "we Dutch will do anything to save a buck" I then told him I can sure tell! you guys always drive all the way to the Meijers across town just because the produce is a dollar cheaper. you guys will also wipe your butts with a leaf to save pennys on toilet paper" lol he got all mad when I said that lol. but during that garage sale there were so many people I wanted to slap!

Garage sales are always unpleasant. You sell something to them cheap, and then if you get really curious, you see what you sold them at the garage sale on craigslist the next day for twice as much lol.

Haha! If anything it's pretty funny, really. I mean the harassment is a bit overboard but is it really that much of a big deal? If you don't like their offer just say "no" and if it's seriously that low just laugh them off. I used to sell a lot vintage bmx parts at swap- meets, so believe me when I say I know all about how many tight-arse fs there are in this world.

eh, the offer wasn't horrible but it was more that he kept on going on and on about how it was a good deal like "my offer of $300 stands" "you should take the $300 the game is dead" "$300 for cardboard is alot of money"
I wanted to just say "f off" but i was trying to be pleasant. eventually i lost my temper and said "I would rather light it on fire than sell it for less than it's worth"
which i wasn't lying, if i can't sell something for a price i want i would rather give it away but in this case i wouldnt give it away because most people i would give it to would just take the stupid $300
needless to say he snapped and started being more of a prick

lol if you'd truly rather light a piece of cardstock on fire than have $300 you should reevaluate your thinking

so your saying if you had something worth $500 and no one wanted to buy it and you could only get say $100 you would just sell it for the $100? I would rather give it away or dispose of it.

But at the very least you'd be getting something.

Um, yeah, of course. $300 is $300. Burnt paper is stupid.
