Angelo, Jonmichael, I'm excited to see (if these sell well) what else this can bring to the line. An adult Gotenks would be awesome! (Though I do hope they release kid Gotenks soon lol.) I forgot this Trunks was in DB Heroes, too. He was also in Dragon Ball Online, that mmo. Makes sense they gave him a figure with how much merch he's involved in!

From all of the characters, sagas, movies and videogame.. those were 2 of the worst releases they could make.
They could've done Kid trunks, DBS Trunks, DBS Trunks w/ green blouse, Super Trunks, maybe he even gets a new transformation next episodes.. but this Trunks? Come on.
as for the Time patrol, I won't spend my time saying why it's such a waste.
If they wanted to release this kind of characters, they could go with DB Heroes instead. Xeno Goku has a very cool design.

There's actually 2 different Adult Gotenks, too. GT Goten and Trunks and then GT Goten and Xenoverse Trunks. I'm a big fan of Super Saiyan 4 transformations so I'm open to Super Saiyan 4 Broly and Super Saiyan 4 Gohan the most. I really like the designs. Any character and design could potentially be a possibility. It's a very smart business decision for Tamashii Nations to test the waters with these releases. Broly opened the door for movie characters. Xenoverse Trunks and Time Patroller can take that a step further and open the door for video game characters. I'm totally cool with these releases as I collect from other manga serializations and not just DB. It's nice to have the breathing space.
With Kinnikuman, JJBA, Guyver, OPM and the upcoming new SHF Devilman and SOC Mazinger Z stuff next year i've got an expensive 6 months ahead anyway!!
Thank god there's no decent One Piece merchandise coming out these days!

Exactly! It would really give the collector a chance to be creative. Xenoverse Trunks and Time Patroller are certainly experimental releases to collect data on whether or not Tamashii Nations creates/continues the strategy for potential future releases. I imagine it will be a small market but I'm glad that Tamashii Nations feels it's deserving enough to at least give it a try. If received well, it could eventually become a sub-line for Tamashii Nations. I hope to see it evolve into that someday. Tamashii Nations has been asking Japanese collectors if they've played or heard of Dragon Ball Heroes, as well. So they may release Dragon Ball Hero characters and designs in a similar way. Similar to the Time Patroller, the main Dragon Ball Heroes* character Beat has already been with Xenoverse Trunks so it's possible...  I'm more excited for the possibility of an adult/Xeno Gotenks figuarts!  They better give us an Adult Goten before they release Adult Gotenks though. |

I feel like they might be saving those two for their Tamashii nations event but we'll see. At the very least I hope we see Tien and Yamcha in all their glory. I'll be sure to take some pics of all the good stuff I'm sure they'll have

I think it would be foolish for Tamashii to wait for their event to show the Xenoverse reveals. They would have much more of an impact being revealed at NYCC since they're aimed specifically for the Western market. Who knows though.
Adam Newman is hopeful that Tien and Yamcha will be displayed at NYCC. They would be amazing to see in person.
