Boo is due for July, I think. This would be cool, that would mean they keep selling one figure a month. Thereby, we might be expecting 5 figures left for the 2nd half of 2018. My predictions: August: Gotenks (because he has been seen a lot these last months) September: Muten Roshi October: Bulma November: Goku 2.0 December: Zamazu (the surprise) If my dreams come true: Aug: Kid Gohan + Gohan cyborgs era combined in one box Sep: Super boo October: Goku SSJ2/Goku namek (yes, sometimes, we have 2 combined the same month, so why not) november: Jiren December: Goku Migate no Gokui Than Namek Goku (2.0) is already confirmed for June. In Japan anyway. With Vegeta and Boo either side (May/July) Other than that the list is a pretty good prediction. I do still think we'll see a new Piccolo and Krillin before the years up though.

I think we’ll see Super Buu to go with Gotenks. Also a Piccolo 2.0 is long overdue and could pair with practically anyone, Krillin being a good choice

Ha OK, where do you get all these informations about release dates? Of course, on my predictions i meant the european releases dates. I'm lucky, i got Picollo, and that dude is cool cause he never changed his clothes, thereby he's fine in any saga. I also have Krilin, but he has the Cell clothes era, not the Saiyan one, wish i think could be a nice release too.

I feel like they purposely create holes in their production to give them some insurance, and something to fall back on in case demand does drop. Holes such as Super Buu with Gohan, Gohan-Buu with Vegito, Kid Gohan with Piccolo, SS2Goku with Majin Vegeta, anime-colored Nappa with Tenshinhan, Android 19 with SSGoku, etc. If i understand right, you mean they keep in mind to fill the holes by releasing the pairs you mention if the sales in general are droping? Well, they know collectors will buy MOST figures, regardless of who they can currently pair with. But slowly, they go back and fill the appropriate pair. And since they produce more new figures than they do "completist" ones, they will leave themselves with plenty of holes to fill, aka plenty of hungry buyers wanting to fill their collection.

Now would be a great time to make those old prototypes official.

Gotenks should be a late summer/fall release next year as it will wrap up the longest lasting prototype we’ve seen since the Tamashii event a year ago. Still waiting on the official announcement for the buu July release, at least from sources like shonenjump. I don’t doubt our only evidence so far (a blogger pic/comment) but I want to see it written from an official source.

It's not a bad figure by any means, but I'd like a (larger) Piccolo with updated parts plus an anime color scheme. If that doesn't happen, though, I have no issue going for the original. Is it known if the original faces will be compatible with the new head?

Any news on when pre-orders for the new Goku open? I don't want to miss this one, so will be setting an alarm and be ready to hit F5!

I am also curious about the new Goku as well. I don't want to miss out on it. It looks fantastic. I am in a weird spot with my collection right now. All of my older figures are being reproduced and look soooooooo much better this time around so I have made the decision to sell off any older versions (minus the SDCC figures) that are getting a 2.0 version. So right now I am in the process of selling 2 base Gokus, 2 original Friezas, 2 Scouter Vegetas, and an original Cell. The completionist in me is screaming help but these new figures make displays look so much better imo.

I think it's a decent idea to rerelease base form Goku, however, something about that low price point puts me on edge about the QC. If I've learned anything from this year, it's A. keep your old figures in good shape and B. Tamashii does not give a crap anymore. What I mean is how the new figures as a whole are turning out. I'm aware of the improvisation of S.H.Figuarts as a whole, but quite a bit of figures (not including Kaioken Goku) were mediocre at best. My only figure I own from this year (minus Kaioken) would be the new Gohan, which next-to-everyone enjoys and really is for the logic of "Oh, the old product is bad because it's old and new is new, so it's good." which is heavily exhibited by figure reviewers. I'm not saying all modern Figuarts suck, like I said, I only own Gohan and Kaioken (mainly because I'm hunting down the figures I never got a chance to own) from this year, however I'd gladly give the newer releases a chance (as contradictory as that seems), as some do genuinely seem like they're of decent quality. Same goes for 2.0 Goku, I'll give him a chance to see if he's worth it or not. Now, more on why the price scares me, first off, it's incredibly cheap for Figuarts. Especially with how Golden Freeza was $31-$39 and wasn't 100% the best figure ever, with how his neck pops out whenever I try to switch his heads out, with his main body splitting in two along with his tail popping out, while I do get that he was a smaller figure and how it was bound to happen, this QC issue still scares me for 2.0 Goku. Though, like I said, I'm willing to give him a fair shot to reach and/or exceed my albeit low expectations. Apologies for the length of this (though seeing it as I'm writing this on a 3DS, it appears more lengthy than it is), just wanted to get my thoughts out there about my concerns (sorta) on the new Goku and 2017 releases thus far (for me at least).
