I can't post all the reviews I've seen but here are a few (just click on the pics).   A video review to top it off...a very useful review for anyone interested in head swaps, the reviewer placed the normal Goku, SSGSS Goku, and Ultimate Gohan heads on the body. It makes it painfully obvious why the skin inconsistency is a problem (and in a pleasing coincidence the preview image shows one of the head swaps). |

One thing that still kinds of bothers me...the Vegeta prototype has regular blue shading on the hair whereas the retail Goku has almost gray shading...but, at a distance the base colors seem to be a perfect match and it's easy to ignore that minor inconsistency. If this is how Vegeta is going to look I'll be satisfied with it.

New (very large) pics of the SSGSS Vegeta. Looks like all it's missing is a matte finish on the hair and I have a feeling the retail release will indeed have matte hair. |

One normal face in the site description...meaning one extra face (the angry face seen in the promo pics) to be used with the normal head which also includes a face (the stoic face).

kanji Well, the "guaranteed" releases that were mentioned (PCE SS3 Goku, Cell, & Krillin) aren't that difficult to believe, especially since Cell and SS3 Goku have already been hinted at. Tamashii has found their work around for getting web exclusives out again, it's only natural for them to make a few more PCE releases. As for the prototypes mentioned...time will tell if any of them see a release (or are ever shown, OR truly exist) but I think it's highly likely. People will simply have to be patient.

now here's something worthy of skepticism...at the same time, I don't find the info impossible to believe. I'm positive each character mentioned does indeed have a prototype available (aside from those that were simply discussed and I hate that Bardock is on that list). Hmmm...pretty disappointing that there isn't anything solid that can be taken from this as it's exactly the kind of news I've been waiting to read regarding every release I'm still waiting to see.

Wasn't SS3 Vegeta in a game before Dragonball Heroes? I recall there being a fighting game that came out years before any of the Dragonball Heroes stuff, with SS3 Vegeta... I'd like to comment on SS3 Vegeta again. I'm very disappointed that it didn't turn out to be Majin Vegeta (this is one instance where I simply won't be satisfied with a custom version, I'd rather have an official release that has an updated hair sculpt and expressive faces) and I still think it's very odd that Tamashii would spend any amount of time on a Vegeta form that was never shown in the series....however, the figure itself looks incredible and I'm glad to finally see what the jumpsuit outfit looks like in Figuarts form. As much as I would rather have Majin Vegeta I can't say I won't get excited if this sees a release. |

bad news for people sick of Goku figures. personally...I'm about to burst with excitement.
dude...I wasn't ready for all this. I don't even know where to begin.
(I typed all of this assuming each of these will see a release and don't care enough to fix that)
Kid Goku - OMG. YES! I've wanted to see this for a few years and it's exactly as I imagined it. can't believe it. AND...I'm taking this as a subtle confirmation that Goten and Trunks can work and it's just a matter of time before they come out.
Angel Goku - Unexpected surprise...I'll get it but I probably won't care about it too much.
SSGod Goku - I've been waiting to see a God Goku for so long, and Tamashii deserves all the praise in the world for making a new sculpt...yet...I'm just not feeling it. Granted the head is superb but...eh. I still can't get over the illogical loss of body mass this form provides and seeing them stick to that is a bummer.
GT Goku - Beyond unexpected. I figured it was so unlikely it didn't even need to be mentioned. Still, it looks great and I like it quite a bit. Aside from that...this (and Angel Goku) could open up the door for more Goku faces and that has me incredibly excited.
SS4 Goku - So glad this wasn't crammed into the release schedule and that they updated the figure. The new joints they've added improves it drastically.
Whis - Champa - Vados - Cool to see but I'm indifferent on these three.
SS3 Vegeta - Another unexpected seemingly impossible figure. So many questions...why this form? Is it going to become canon at some point? Actually...the fact that this isn't Majin Vegeta is a massive let down. I still love seeing it but this is such a bizarre decision. AND NO SCULPTED BOOT TIPS. Absurd.
Armor Trunks - Cannot believe it. I wasn't too obsessed with getting it but...WOW. wow. It's really something else and I'm glad they're making it.
Porunga - ...as good as it looks...why bother. The size is so inadequate. No one will agree with me on this but I hope they don't waste time releasing it.

I was talking more in terms of speculating as to what the figure is . 'SS2 Trunks' isn't shedding a very clear light on what we are actually getting, considering it doesn't really exist. I'm confident in the info that we are getting new figures, I just have very little idea as to what they are. ah...gotcha. I was misreading the situation and jumped to a conclusion. Anyway...I feel the USS form is the safest bet for the SS2 Trunks. |
