Four of each figure? Damn I can barely afford one preorder in a month on top of bills. It would be nice if the figures were a bit more affordable tbh, I remember buying the og SSJ Goku when it first released for only like 40 bucks. I concur. The prices of everything just skyrocketed the past year or two, to the point of being occasionally stressful as opposed to fun. I also collect the Ichibansho statues (fear not, only one of each of those), and those too went from being $30-45 to suddenly being $100 for certain characters.

lol figuarts has been hurting my pockets lately. i might take a break after king cold. We all know he will be a P bandai Yes, it's getting to be too much... I was trying to buy 2-3 of each figure, occasionally 4, (one for opening, one for sealed display, and one for P bandai potentially sending damaged or defective junk) and including Naruto and the potential to get the SDCCs, that's well over $1000 of Figuarts in a month for me. And, don't get me wrong, I think it's great they're offering so many different possibilities and variations and I hope that continues, it's just time for some of the more dedicated among us to self-evaulate. Cyber Frieza and King Cold are must-haves though, as is 2nd Form Cell if that's offered soon.

Yeah, it's strange and disappointing there's no evidence of Orange Piccolo. I would definitely buy him for my collection. I've searched pretty deep with Google looking for evidence of one, but haven't found anything. On a related note, I contacted Bandai Play, because I could not find any photos of Dragon Ball figures at Anime Expo (which was a few days ago). (Moreover, I struggled to find ANY photos from Bandai's non-Tamashii display from Anime Expo, but that's a failure on the part of social media (people being more private about their posts and/or not typing "Anime Expo" and "Bandai" or "Dragon Ball" into their post in Facebook groups... but that frustration is taking me off topic). I contacted Bandai Play, and while they didn't answer my question properly, they gave me the impression that they didn't even have any DB stuff on display. In one of the previous years, Anime Expo was how we got a look at the upcoming DB Evolve figures. I was hoping to see upcoming Dragon Stars or DB Evolve figures in pics or videos, but I haven't seen anything relevant in what little I can actually find. I don't have a TikTok, so I didn't look there. SDCC is July 20-23, so I hope that some saint will take a video for YouTube or post good pictures on Facebook and tag them appropriately so we can share them and find them. I'm sure Bandai Play will show upcoming figures at it. I was at Anime Expo, that's correct, no DragonBall on display that I can recall. They had an Anime Heroes exhibit and store with all of the Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Jujutsu Kaisen, etc, displayed both in-box and posed. They were selling the 2022 event exclusive there. I didn't buy it just because... 2022. They also had the Narutos out in the Narutop99 exhibit, and the new figure was Jiraiya (Anime Heroes, not the Figuarts Exclusive). For some reason, Dragonball always ends up at Comic Con and usually gets ignored at Anime Expo. I'm sure you already know, but the Tamashii display did have the newer Dragonballs (Yamcha, Vegeta Blue, Goku effect parts, Trunks, and one or two others).

Why is he $120??? Is he super limited or something? I usually wait until they announce the closing date to pre-order. lol is anyone surprised at this point? I would be shocked if it was below $60 USD What about this is unsurprising? The price of these figures has always been consistently correlated with their size and accessories. This is $30 more than the biggest/tallest characters in the series, doesn't have many accessories, and is under 6 inches tall. It makes no sense.

Form 3 Frieza looks perfect - I'm looking forward to it. The effect piece is a nice addition. The last two releases (Pan and Broly) were skippable duds for me, so it's nice to be back on track.
I'm not sure where all of the hype for Full Power Frieza is coming from. It would be a good figure if done right, but these figures have *never* bothered to respect to different builds (Super Vegeta is the same as other Vegetas, SSJ3 Goku is the same as other Gokus, etc) and are clearly awful with scale (Krillin, kids, etc). If anything, they've gotten worse recently, not better (scale-wise... the expressions over the past two years are better than ever). I think you're all in for a disappointment when you get another re-release of the Form 4 mold with a box that says Full Power and maybe a chopped off tail and some scuff marks. Some of the faces pictured above or the discs would be nice though.

The kid Goku and Krillin figures also had large heads compared to the rest of the line, so it's coherent with their previous figures that Pan would have a large head too. It looks like they only do it for children too, since Chiaotzu had a properly scaled head despite having a small body (but isn't a child). It's probably a design choice. The Dragon Ball Chi Chi looks good and not like a bobblehead though, so I'm not sure there's any rhyme or reason to it. Dragon Ball had some different/odd scales in general - Master Roshi's head was huge, but they looked fine for a Dragon Ball display, and the old art was a lot different. I liked the Goku and Roshi/Jackie Chun for what they were. And I forgot about that Krillin, I wasn't a fan of how it looked at all so I did skip that one as well.

That looks ridiculous. I feel like I'm looking at the giant Punk Hazard children in One Piece. It's one of the first figures I've intentionally skipped (only the video game ones before), and this photo has given me vindication.

Out of curiosity, I held Kefla's face plates up to Jeice's - they're about the same size. Kefla's are a bit wider and Jeice's are a bit taller. I'm not sure any slightly shorter character other than the old Teen Gohan (and of course Chiaotzu) has the standard Goku-sized faceplate. Both Kefla and Jeice those are dwarfed by the faceplates of the Armored Kid Gohan (who I haven't opened and might not), and Gohan pales in comparison to the grotesque monster Krillin.
I do wish they'd standardize the face size, but I still give Kefla and Jeice a pass.

For people who has Kefla....is that a good figuarts? Or I can pass ? I like the Kefla figure a lot - the faces are accurate and the accessories are some of the most unique. I think it's one of the most unfairly criticized figures, seemingly because many just don't like the character, or Super in general, very much. Also, after the monstrosity of the Namek Krillin (the head is literally 3x the size of a Goku), I'm not sure how anyone thinks Kefla's head is too big.

Does Figuarts distinguish between Super Saiyan Vegeta and Super Vegeta at all? The last release (though it was still called Super Saiyan Vegeta, not Super Vegeta) had the "I am Super Vegeta" face and pose and this one doesn't seem to. Or is that supposed to be the bottom of the three faces shown above?

They're usually relatively predictable, with the occasional random offering like Turles.
19 and 20 had promotional artwork done, so they'll be coming soon. Yamcha is close to a guarantee (without actually being a guarantee) to resurface along with those - they've been pairing figures that make scenes more often than they used to, and they're running out of new figures to offer. They could even pair the Vegeta with 19 and the Yamcha with 20.
That being said, the long hair Yamcha isn't likely to lose value from a 2.0 - I think it's his most iconic look.

I got my Krillins from Premium Bandai yesterday. I'm really conflicted on it. The details, the faces, the parts all look amazing (except the starting one has messy paint on his forehead, which is irritating... I hope it can come off when I open it), and I've wanted figures of Krillin in this outfit for a very long time. But the head is just so huge. I don't want to say it ruins the figure, but I really don't understand what they're thinking with the proportions. Holding them up side-by side, the Dragon Stars Krillin looks infinitely better to me, proportionally speaking.

Has a height for this figure been revealed yet? 7.5 inches according to Premium BanDai, that seems a little lacking to me.
