george clooney to batman is what dragon ball evolution is to dragon ball series. all the star power in batman and robin couldnt save how bad of a movie it was.

Sad thing is I think Clooney could've been an okay Bruce Wayne/Batman if given way better material.

BTW what was the reason why christian bale doesnt wanna do batman anymore? He said he didn't want to overstay his welcome with the character. Never really liked his Batman though. His Bruce Wayne on the other hand is pretty good. |

Bale had this to say:
Chris always said he wanted to make it one film at a time. And we ended up sitting there looking at each other, saying ‘We’re about to make the third’. meh i guess. hugh jackman didnt overstay his welcome with wolverine, but whatever. sounds to me he just doesnt wanna be typecast. although who knows maybe Mr. Garner might actually surprise us. i remember when heath ledger was first casted as joke people were like "The guy from broke back mountain?!"
but when i think of batman i think of the kevin connroy character. and when i think of joker i think matt hamill's joker was the best.

I agree with what Bale said. Comic book movies in general should be treated like the Bond movies. Just made as good standalone films that you don't need to have seen the other movies to understand what's going on. That way roles could be passed down from actor to another without any problem.
