 He fits! Cannot believe I've been waiting nearly 5 years to answer this conundrum. Had a pretty fair idea that he would squash in there okay, based on the many side-by-side comparisons with SDCC Vegeta I'd seen. Admittedly, it took a lot of finesse and I probably could have posed him better to appear more comfortable in there, but I can finally say "mission accomplished". |

crisis Thankfully, I was able to source him locally through Facebook marketplace. When I saw the price, I just pulled the trigger. Didn’t even pause to haggle. In hind sight, I probably should have - as the seller eventually reduced their prices, until they all sold. Either way, I’m super stoked I was able to add an all time grail figure to the collection. He was around 130USD or thereabouts, way cheaper than other listings I’ve seen for him lately. 🤙

Cannot believe that I was content with passing up these guys for SO long! They really are some of the best Figuarts to date and in their most iconic outfits, no less. The Saiyan saga display is going to be fooking spec-tacular!

Compared to the new Tien I really hate the old one's faces but Yamcha still holds up pretty well today but that's just my two cents

The Bandai Premium edition Tien definitely looks like he’s more up to par with the latest offerings from Tamashii. I prefer this version, as it depicts the earlier Toriyama inspired character design from the Saiyan saga. Which is more highly animated with the over-exaggerated facial expressions and the like. Not sure I could be persuaded to upgrade my HSCF Tien and Yamcha, unless Tamashii teases a Semi-Perfdct Cell or Dr. Gero release on the horizon 🤞

It’s a great figure but 2 of the faceplates are way too similar to one another, like 🙁 and ☹️

True. Although, there can be only one faceplate, in my eyes. That maniacally screaming Death Ball face is without doubt the best and most anime accurate headsculpt we’ve gotten to date. I have big plans for this little bugger!
