nope, I was well aware of that, even with my Cache cleared it gives me the same thing, i even tried using another Browser What browser and what browser version are you using when you made this screenshot? Is it severely outdated? You don't even have the webfonts loading. All of your yellow text is the wrong font and so is the white text for our user names. Heck, even the font for the things we say in our posts is the wrong font. Is this some old version of Safari? Chrome that has somehow avoided the updates they roll out with? Internet Explorer 7, 8, or 9? Some sort of customized security settings on your browser? Because this makes no sense at all. So not only are you not getting the version of the CSS I saved the other day, but you aren't getting the fonts that I put on the site before we even allowed people to join (in other words, you have apparently NEVER had the fonts the rest of us enjoy, because I programmed the webfonts days before you could have possibly even known DBF existed.). Something is weird or really outdated about the browser you're using. I Use Firefox 27.0.1, the Browser used at school was the newest Safari *Looks again* You don't even have the ads, nor the space for one to load should one appear. You have some sort of ad blocker don't you? No wonder you have so many issues!! I can't believe I wasted so much time diagnosing this. I use AdBlock +, and its non-intrusive. this is what it looks like Disabled (same but with ads) and the ad block wouldnt affect my school computer as they dont use adblock

Ctrl+Shift+R to reload a page from scratch in Firefox. Usually works for me. Worth a shot.
I also used the Participated thing, lol.

I must say I also prefer the Participated link where it used to be, having it in the menu won't give the notification when new posts are made, or am I mistaken? Also Branjita, a little trick to force browsers to download a new version of an asset (like a CSS file) is to append a query string to the url. For example: <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="mystyles.css?v=1" /> So whenever you make a change to the CSS you would change the value and everyone will see the changes without having to clear the cache on their browers.

I didn't even realize it gave notifications, as I only use the Recent Threads link personally. If it's important, I can add the old one back. Is it important to you on the phone or just pc? Because it's kind of in the way on phones. What I may be able to do if it is a block element is put it under the bread crumb navigation, which will at least get it out of the way of the bread crumbs so they aren't truncated.
That's an interesting trick I didn't know. The only problem is, I can't edit the html freely, I have to go through a bunch of hoops in the admin panel to do things. Put simply, I have no control of what the css file is named or how it is linked, so I most likely cannot do the method you mention. If I had access via ftp, this would not be an issue, however, I don't.

Yeah I was kind of fond of the that feature. I didn't have to scroll down and see if something was new. I'd just check the participated thing and see if it had update with the new thing in front of it.

If that's all you are using it for, the Recent Threads button is actually better, because it does exactly that without you having to have had participated in the thread for it to show up.

Well, I've thought about it and played with it a bit, and I think I'm going to leave things as they are.
The notification that there's a post in a thread you've participated in is kind of a novelty, as all it takes is a click/tap on the link I added to find out if there are any threads with the word NEW next to them. So it isn't too big of a deal.
I'll look into relocating that notification if possible to being above the link I added... I don't know if it's possible. Since there's a notification above Messages and Profile for when you get stuff... I assume I could do the same.
