Well...I filled a big hole in my collection. I found this in a B/S/T thread over at Toyark. The guy wanted $300 for it (of course) but he said he'd consider other offers. I had no intention of buying it and I certainly didn't have the money to even jokingly consider it but I happened to have a lot of figures he wanted to buy (loose Marvel Legends). I thought it was a long shot since they were loose but I sent a message anyway. It took a bit of talking and 14 Marvel Legends figures but now I don't have to look for SDCC Goku anymore.

Not 100% accurate but it looks fine to me. Goku and Cell were on a flat even surface in the image I used. I made the mistake of leaving out Piccolo but after comparing the images it seems the hair on 16 puts him a few CMs over Piccolo. that display they have looks incredible.

Man...I'm really excited about 16.
OMG. I didn't see the Goku post! Awesome...IF it isn't a Figuarts Zero. DUDE! That was the last thing I was expecting.
(wait...I'm also noticing the Tamashii Buddies logo in the background...and I can't really see any articulation on this...eh...oh well. would have been cool)
Now...Vegito...the face seems really bad at first glance but I'm very excited to see it. I see they stuck with the old Goku body which is just fine with me, I always love consistency. A new outfit would've been cool though.

Hmm...since you've gone this far you might consider repainting the factory blue to match the sash and wristbands.

I don't have any good reason for posting this other than I want to show it off. I've been toying with the idea of remaking a Mugen game featuring DBZ characters recolored to match the Figuarts figures (there's a 99% chance I won't actually do it). For now I just have a few sprites but I decided to arrange every sprite I have into a small chart. I've included Broly, 16, and a few other unconfirmed guesses for the hell of it. 7/24/14 - I added Vegito now that he's been revealed.

I relate to everything you've said except the satanic part. I sincerely dread the day I wind up with a date and have to explain the absurd amounts of figures I have. There have been a few moments where I justified having so much by saying it's something I can pass on and share with whatever kids I may have but even then it doesn't really explain the huge stack of import figures I have. I don't like to think about but I've actually lost a couple of friends because of my collecting habit. You know...disregarding all that's been said about that...it's still bothersome. It's really a damn shame when someone can't accept when an adult wants to collect figures. To focus on something as trivial as that...it's so upsetting knowing it makes it easy for them to ignore all the good I've done and who I am as a person just because I have an odd hobby. It sometimes makes me wonder why I do and if it really matters to me as much as I say it does. I guess I'm in a bit of an arrested development situation but what can you do about that? I hate thinking about it.

I try to keep my toy collection a secret from friends and family. My friends all think it's weird and my family views it as some kind of mid-mid-life crisis haha. My friends used to give me sh*t about it so I put everything in my closet and put a lock on the door to avoid anyone seeing it. Anytime I tell people how much I spend (which really isn't that much) they always act like I've gone crazy. So now I just keep that info to myself, and the only people I show my collection to are you guys. same here. I don't receive much hostility over my collection but I've heard numerous rumblings.

I'm already regretting this. When I was in high school I was under the delusion I could start a career as a rapper. I aimed to be an indie musician that made a little money, nothing else. I just became some guy that wasted money. This was one of the last songs I recorded...I was already giving up but I met another local guy that wanted some help with engineering and I sent him back a few samples of my amateurish work and he liked it so much he wanted me to keep the parts I recorded on the song. I wrote the chorus and the last verse. It's not terrible but it's really nothing you'll ever hear on the radio.

WHAT...oh man...how exciting.
(after edit)
Oh man...what a bummer. I admit, it didn't make much sense and it's hard to believe Bandai would pull a stunt like that but it looked pefect. All the joints are colored which suggested a variant instead of a simple repaint, the pants actually looked like plastic parts...very disappointing.

I believe the hands are hard to switch because they're all painted. I'm not sure what might cause this, maybe they use a combination of paint and sealant that makes the hands tighter but it likely isn't because of smaller peg holes in the hands. Compare the painted normal Goku hands to the unpainted (slightly airbrushed) casted plastic SS/SS3 Goku hands and you'll see the difference.

Oh boy...let's see.
I absolutely can't stand...
Sudden loud noises/people screaming...talking and being completely ignored/sending messages and getting no replies...armchair politicians...(in direct contrast to the last annoyance) general apathy from people in this country...dogmatic statements and stubborn close minded beliefs...general small talk (a lot of people in my past had a tendency to drift off when I talked about myself, as I grew I lost all interest in trivial nonsense)...waiting for eBay/Amazon packages...petty meaningless conflicts that people insist on participating in...leaving minor typos in comments...waiting in long lines...trends and the people that follow them...uh...I'll stop, I think I've said enough...and if I think of more I'll just edit this.
